Legal & Contract Manager (Head) | Renewable Energy Developer

Company:

Role:

• Provide counsel to management as the business positions itself to capture emerging opportunities in the following segments of the energy industry: Utility Scale-Solar, battery storage and other renewable resources.
• Support, negotiate and review acquisition structures and documentation to support growth of renewable asset pipeline.
• Research, review, interpret, draft and negotiate project documents such as land agreements, power purchase agreements (PPA), EPC and O&M Agreements.
• Manage and supervise outside counsel.

Ideal profile:

• 5-10 years of relevant experience at a major law firm or with renewables or real estate in-house legal department
• Experience in transactions in the renewables industry, M&A opportunities, project development etc.
