NEW | Head of Finance & Accounting / Finance Director

Titan continue to support one of our key clients, a renewable developer invested by one of the UK's largest investors to hire a strong Finance & Accounting professional to support the scale up of their business.

Company background:

• Our client, launched in 2022 is a fast-growing renewable energy (PV & BESS) developer in Japan. They have a top quality team across development, finance & engineering, and have developed 230MW of utility scale solar across 9 projects with a goal of more than 1GW. Most recently have 3 signed PPAs in Japan.
• Their main investor, has recently increased their investment to expand into BESS and C&I space which will add scale and complexity to the business.
• Key partnerships are in place with Toshiba Energy Systems, Tokyo Gas and other major Japanese players in the energy ecosystem.

The opportunity:

• The finance head will be responsible for managing and updating budgets, preparing
  financial models, and ensuring the accuracy of financial projections. This role requires strong
  communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including UK fund.
• Lead financial reporting and analysis, bridge to steering committee and fund.
• As the business grows and increases SPVs, develop and update cash flow projections, manage all invoicing and oversee system improvements/upgrades to match business scale.
• Support the investment team on project level investment and acquisition decisions.
