• Focusing on building data driven solutions to forecast power demand and price fluctuations, which can be used for risk management, development of profitable trading strategies and optimal management of various renewable energy and battery storage assets.
• Located in Otemachi, with a young Data Science and Machine Learning Operations team hired from top professionals across power, finance and insurance industries, as well as secondees from the parent company.

Role:

1. Forecast modeling of power demand and power prices.
2. Optimization of group company's energy assets.
3. Power Markets Trading: start with imbalance trades, will expand to multiple trading strategies.

Ideal Profile:

• Looking for professionals with strong Python / DevOps / ML Ops experience.
• Interested with Japan power markets.
• Flat organization, COO came from data analytics in the finance industry, down to earth and global view.
• Able to propel career in growing sector: a cross between renewable energy, finance, and AI technology.
• Strong technical and data driven culture- will be the most advanced AI team for Japan power markets.
