Deputy CFO | International Division | Japanese Renewable Energy Developer

• Privately owned developer, owner and operator of renewable energy projects in Japan and across the APAC region.  With a team of >450 people and operating portfolio of >1.3GW of clean power, they are one of the largest independent power producers in Japan.
• Strong business performance, with healthy cashflow is driving further expansion.  Last year, gaining major investment from large pension funds was followed by key partnerships announced this year with top utility and private equity players.

The opportunity:

• Reporting to CEO of International Division and functionally to Group CFO, this position will lead financial planning, reporting, audit as well as support on M&A/investment opportunities.
• Lead corporate governance, build out and implement robust market specific and organisation wide policies.
• Managing a small team (currently 2x Controllers), you will also be expected to develop and grow the finance organisation as they business expands.

Ideal profile:

• 7+ years of financial planning and accounting experience, including company audit.
• Experience managing overseas entities is key.
• Fluency in English necessary, business level Japanese is an advantage.
• Welcome experience from renewable energy, real estate or other infrastructure business
