Electricity Market Lead, Japan & APAC at Global Infrastructure Fund
Company:
- Major infrastructure fund, managing >25bn EUR funds focused on clean energy across onshore renewables, offshore wind, hydrogen, biofuels and more.
- Current main fund has a heavy focus on Japan and APAC markets - deploying this capital and raising for the next generation fund in parallel.
- Office is located in central Tokyo - with a multinational investment and development team.
Role:
- Lead design and implementation of the offtake strategy across multi-technology portfolio of renewable energy projects, including offshore
wind, onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage, initially in Japan but also expanding into key APAC markets. - Hands-on role to Identify and originate offtakers and execute long-term structured
agreements (PPAs, ancillary services agreements etc). - Work closely with investment and development project teams to ensure results of the market analysis and offtake strategies suit project’s economic models.
