With $400M USD of committed funding, our client is actively scaling their team as they double headcount in 2025 to support rapid growth in the Japan renewables market.

The Opportunity:

Asset Manager – PV & BESS

This is a critical leadership role within the Japan platform, responsible for maximizing commercial performance, ensuring compliance, and driving long-term value across the operating portfolio of solar and BESS assets. The Asset Manager will report directly to the U.S. HQ and engage regularly with investors and Board members.

We’re seeking a hands-on, analytically strong asset management professional who thrives in a lean team and can bridge daily operational oversight with strategic value creation. Experience managing both PV and battery energy storage assets is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day asset performance, including O&M, compliance, and technical reporting.
• Monitor and optimize KPIs to enhance revenue and manage risk.
• Lead regulatory filings and compliance activities with METI, OCCTO, and other authorities.
• Support asset valuation by analyzing operational risks, cost drivers, and revenue profiles.
• Participate in due diligence and integration for new acquisitions.
• Monitor cash balances and capital flows across project entities; track covenants and manage debt obligations.
