Titan have been retained to search for the Country Manager to lead the Japan arm of a global clean energy non-profit organisation.  

Country Manager, Japan 

Organisation:

Our client are a global organisation, active in 10 countries.  They provide technical, expert support to Governments and industry to improve policy and develop smooth pathways for offshore wind industry growth.

• Working on wide range of topics, from risk management, marine ecosystem protection, operational health & safety, local community engagement and economic analysis.

The opportunity:

• As Country Head, you will have a highly strategic role to build the vision and direction for their  programmes in Japan, and be the face of the organisation.
• The role will consist of 4 key pillars:  Strategic Planning | Government Relations | Stakeholder Relations | Project Management.
• You will work broadly across the offshore wind ecosystem - with METI, MLIT and other key Gov ministries, industry players such as developers, OEMs, JOGMEC etc. as well as local stakeholders in key promotion and project zones.

• 10+ years of experience working in Government Affairs / Relations roles with strong ability to understand and influence policy decisions.
• Strong ability to bridge the gap between stakeholders with differing views across Government, industry, local communities etc.
