Description

Head of Maintenance Management (副社長補佐) | Renewable Energy O&M Services Provider

Company:

Operations & Maintenance business of >500 MW of renewable power generation at approx 100 sites across Japan and remotely monitors them 24/7.

Role:

- Leading planning for operations and maintenance for power plants
- Swiftly and efficiently coordinate with field office teams and external partners/subcontractors for reactive maintenance/management
- Oversee performance of power plants using digital monitoring technologies, manage HQ and field teams to ensure scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance is carried out to high quality standards
- People management of >50 based in HQ, as well as local area teams consisting of area managers and CEEs (電気工事施工管理技士)
- Selection and management of vendors/partners 
- Collaborate with internal departments (Account Management and Administration)
- Preparation of clear reports for top management and clients (plant operators)
- Working alongside top management on business planning, strategy
- Supporting business development and sales work to further expand Japan business

Ideal candidate:

- Electrical Engineering background (2級電気工事施工管理技士 or higher)
- 5+ years in facility management (factory, data-centre etc.) or power plant operations and maintenance
- Experience in managing teams (hiring, performance review, training etc.)
- Mid-level English capability preferred as some client companies are multinational
