Description
Legal & Contracts Manager | Global Private Equity Development Platform
Exciting opportunity for a well known APAC investor in the energy transition for their new investment platform for Japan. A new market entrant, they are set to build up their operations to focus on a large variety of green technology areas from Solar power, EV infrastructure and Energy Storage.
Role:
- Provide counsel to management as the business grows and develops emerging opportunities in the following segments of the energy industry: Solar, battery storage, EV charging infrastructure and other renewable resources.
- Support, negotiate and review acquisition structures and documentation to support growth of renewable asset pipeline.
- Research, review, interpret, draft and negotiate project documents such as land agreements, power purchase agreements (PPA), MOU, NDA, DSA, EPC and O&M contracts.
- Manage and supervise outside counsel.
- Risk management on commercial terms, liabilities etc.
- Translate and summarise key terms and conditions to investment committee and development team in Japan and APAC HQ.
