Finance & Accounting Director

A fast-growing Japan-focused BESS developer backed by a top-tier global infrastructure investor is hiring a Finance & Accounting Director.

This is a hands-on role sitting close to the business, responsible for building and running the accounting and financial control framework across development-stage and operating projects. You’ll oversee SPC accounting, manage monthly and annual closings (JGAAP / IFRS), coordinate with external accounting firms, and support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and investor reporting.

The platform operates with a lean, start-up culture and offers direct access to senior decision-makers, broad ownership, and the chance to help scale the business to institutional standards.

Ideal for someone with strong project or fund accounting experience in renewables, infrastructure, or real assets, who enjoys building processes rather than inheriting them.
